Oliver Paving out of Charlotte NC chose ThermoPrintHT to apply to 3,600 sq ft of stamped asphalt crosswalks this spring in Kanapolis North Carolina.

As part of the reconstruction of Veterans Park and Memorial on the corner of N. Main St. and 1st St., the City chose to include decorative crosswalks to enhance the intersection. The intersection of W. 1st and N. Ridge Ave. were treated with ThermoPrintHT as well.

The crosswalks were stamped with Diagonal Herringbone using Terra Cotta ThermoPrintHT and white thermoplastic to highlight the borders.

ThermoPrintHT is a specially formulated decorative thermoplastic material that uses anti-skid aggregates to create this durable, road-marking material. ThermoPrintHT is typically installed to improve pedestrian safety at high traffic intersections, while providing decorative enhancement to the cityscape. Preformed sheets are heat-applied to an asphalt surface and then stamped using a cable template pattern. The results, a surface that is durable, safe and decorative.
