Yonkers Paving out of Pelham NY was contracted by Avalon of Newark CT to remove a section of damaged brick pavers on a parking deck that had heaved due to sand base problems.

The brick pavers and sand bed were removed and replace with an asphalt binder course and top course stamped and coated to match the remaining stable brick pavers.

A special border template was create to match the existing border bricksize and a herringbone pattern was used to match the field pattern.

RoadColor coatings were used to coat the project, Terra Cotta on the borders and Granite on the herringbone field.

Yonkers was able to provide a stable asphalt surface as well as closely match the existing color and brick paver pattern.
